I swapped out a tv. I need to know how to pair my direct tv remote with the new tv.?

Don't you think it might help if you mentioned what type of TV? Or better yet, look up the manual for the DirectTV remote.

Remotes are NOT "paired" with anything. All of the codes there will ever be for that remote are listed in the manual included with it. If no listed code makes it work, that remote will never be able to control that TV.
