Why do people bring dogs into restaurants?

1) Service animals. People use them. 2) As long as the dog isn't bothering anyone, what's the big deal? We have numerous restaurants that permit dogs during the warmer months. It's really not a big deal.

I would have thought that only guide dogs for the blind would be allowed into such places. I would not wish to eat in a restaurant which had dogs inside, unless it was a guide dog.

The new “emotional support animal” bs is ridiculous. My daughter is deathly allergic to dogs and these idiots bring their pets to the store, restaurants (against health regulations) and anywhere else they want. For some reason they think they are above the law.

To show the cook. They must be young, tender, fat. They are cooked special. High priced dining there. Normally they are brought in the back door. Some form of special ocation is coming up to bring in a dog.

Emotional support dogs don’t need to just be there when the owner is in a panic. They’re supposed to be there in the event that they do. You’re hoenstly just a jerk

If the place allowed the dog in, you are a jerk for not paying. If it is so important to you, ask before you go in and order, that way you can avoid the situation where you showed your own 'poor breeding and training."
