How is someone supposed to pronounced zee correctly without it sounding like jee?

They sound so similar.

Zee is pronounced with the teeth together, and the air pushed out continuously. Jee is pronounce with the tongue touching the ridge behind the teeth. The air is stopped behind the tongue and let out all at once. You can't continue the sound of Jee like you can the sound of zee. The vocal chords vibrate for both.

geezer

Just say Zed instead !

The only thing they have in common is the vowel sound. Meaning they rhyme. The consonants Z and J sound nothing alike.
