Is diamateous earth safe for people?
I messed up and bought the regular kind instead of food grade. So is a taste ok? I have it around my counters for bugs. What if I get some on a dish? Will it hurt me or my family?

You need to get the food grade. The grade you have you can use outside in the garden, but I would not use it near food prep areas.
