If I smoke on the bottom floor of an apartment complex will my upstairs neighbors smell it?

I’m a heavy cannabis smoker and right now I live on the top floor so it hasn’t been an issue. I’m moving in a bit and then complex I want to go to only gas bottom floors available. I usually use a sploofy and light incense but Idk if they would still be able to smell it. Any tips?

depends but my experience is that neighbors smell it even if they don't say anything. Often the ventilation for bathrooms has a common manifold so odors cross between apartments surprisingly easily. I have had upstairs neighbors that I could smell their pot quite often.

Maybe you could see if your landlord would allow you to install ceiling fans at your expense.

Yes. Doesn’t matter where your apartment is located, other apartments will smell weed. It is a very pungent odor. Nothing covers up the smell. And it will work its way through the ventilation system.

Good Bye

Yes!

Smoke rises to likely yes.

sometimes, it is against the law to smoke indoors, check your rental agreement, or the land-lord. secondly, as per the city's civil-code, the neighbors will complain if you smoke and they smell it. it is second-hand smoke. move to a state where smoking dope is legal, or vote legal in your own state's campaign to legalize marijuana.

Anywhere you smoke it, neighbors will smell it.

Yes, it will probably go through the ventilation.
