Three legged buffalo quater year 2005 in mint condition which is in Kansas what is it worth?

Maybe a slight premium above face value, for being 'mint' - which is a debatable condition grade. The coin was designed with one hind leg not shown. People that don't know coins may have heard about a 3-legged Buffalo, and so they apply that skimpy knowledge to any US coin that has a buffalo on it. The error coin is the 1937-D 'Buffalo' nickel where the right foreleg appears to be missing. This is due to polishing of a worn die - common at the time to get additional usage out of dies that were deteriorating - removed the part of the die that created the detail of that leg.

I will give you 6cents for it. You pay shipping.

It was made that way so its not an error. It's worth a quarter. There is a bison nickle that year with an error of only three legs with a value exceeding a thousand dollars.
