Is pushing a lawn mower for a labor company for 8hrs for 8.50 per hour worth it.?

If it's the only job available it is. Anything to help pay the Bill's

Only you can judge that, in the context of what people pay for work where you are. I somehow assume 8.50 US dollars an hour, but you do not say which part of the world you live in.

It's better than starving.

My first job was Picking up 75 pound hay bales and putting them on a wagon then stacking them in a barn when I was 12 years old. I got 25 cents an hour. You do what you have to to survive.

That depends. How much are you making now? If you aren't making anything, it's worth it. The rationale: how quickly do you want to go broke? Do you want to go broke fast, or do you want to go broke slow...and maybe find something that pays better before you go bust?

Aussie Devil

unless you have a better job to do then yes it is

Of course it is. May not be anyone's dream occupation (unless you own the landscaping company) but it's honest work that pays bills.

It certainlyl beats not being paid at all. Only you can know whether it's 'worth it' for YOU.

do it,,good exercise, might be an increase of you show diligent effort, how do you show greater effort? carry a hand sharpening stone with you plus a charged up drill with a polishing wheel,a bottle or armor all a putty scraper to periodically scrape the mower wheels & around the wheels, a small can of lube to put on the wheel bearings, work gloves, they keep the palms from blistering. ankle weights about 5 lbs each ankle they provide ballast & heft in pushing the thing with less effort. ability to do double what the rest of the crew does in 8 hrs,may get you a couple bucks more an hour, bosses go through newhires today gone next week like men go through socks

Yes, especially if it's your first job. It will teach you perseverance and how to be reliable.

Yes, and it is great exercise.

I wouldn't do it even it I was 20 years old, but then I was not into manual labor and when to school

If your 14 years old yes. If your 30 years old? **** no

Yes. Any job beats no job. Once you have a job more doors open at better jobs.

It's good, clean work, relatively safe. I know people who work as firefighters, running into burning buildings or fighting uncontrolled brush fires for under $10 an hour. Not everyone has equal opportunity to earn a decent living, so you might have to take what you can get and hope to move into better things as people gain respect for your skills and work ethic.

Truth is within you

It's exercise you get paid for. Being a good worker pays off. You learn things that help you later.
