Is it illegal to yell the phrase “asian pussy!” at random people while driving down the street?

A couple of years ago, I was riding in my friends car and I rolled down the window and yelled asian pûssy at a random kid. The kid and I got into an argument later on, it turns out he went to the same school as me lol. I had to explain to him that I wasn’t calling him an Asian pûssy, meaning a coward. But rather I meant to communicate Asian vagina. I wasn’t calling him an Asian vagina but I was just randomly saying this, just for fun. Could I of been charged with a crime?
