I went and got a ct scan and it says subtle and mild bilateral calcification of globi pallidi.?

When I was 4 years old I had all 4 of my glands in my neck removed. They think this is a metabolic thing and the doctors said it’s not dangerous. They said we detected it early and taking medication and hormone medicine that the glands use to produce will help stop it. Is this true. And can you surgically remove this and if not will the hormome medications stop it from getting worse ?

You cannot surgically removed the globus pallidi or calcifications within them.

The cause is usually hormonal. Yes hormones should work. Surgery is not pleasant, but if you are brave you can consider it. Surgery would be ideal really.
