I m trying to translate the phrase Land of eight men into Latin.?
It translates into Terra octo viri , but when I translate it back to English it comes out as Eight of the . Is this how the language s translate into each other, or is there a way to have it come out as, or close to Land of eight men when translated into English?

Viri is men in Latin.

There's no way in Latin of distinguishing between "Land of eight men", "Eight men's land" and "Land of the eight men". If you mean the male of the species the Latin is "Terra octo viri" If you mean humans it's "Terra octo hominum".
