If God commanded you to hate him and to stop worshipping him and worship Satan are you morally obligated to obey his command?

can't happen neither exist

You may as well ask what if there was no Law of Gravity, which comes from the same God.

Yes, just like when Batman orders you to punch him in the face: You don't think, just punch. Same situation.

Bob

That would be like a Turkey voting for Christmas.

Kathy Smith

APPARENTLY YOU NO NOTHING ABOUT GOD AS HE WOULD NEVER ASK US TO HATE ANYONE.

Leonie

You assume the command but that is the WHOLE QUESTION. Your premise is that there is no deceiving spirit.

Christian sinner

I don't think you know how this works. And you might want to learn someday. God isn't you, he doesn't think like you.

Hal: As Christ said

As Christ said: "A good tree produces good fruit, and a bad tree produces bad fruit. A good tree can’t produce bad fruit, and a bad tree can’t produce good fruit. So every tree that does not produce good fruit is chopped down and thrown into the fire. Yes, just as you can identify a tree by its fruit, so you can identify people by their actions." While God created all things, thus allowing both good and evil to happen, to come about, He wants us to choose the path of repentance/redemption, to change for the better, to become new and go on the right path, through Christ Jesus. Only through Christ can we bear good fruit that lasts. (John chapter 15)

Truth is within you

Satan is a symbol of illusion.

No. And I can't just obey a command to hate anyone, that's not how feelings work.

Invisible spiritman

No, first of all God would never tell anyone to worship Satan. And God gave man free will which gives us the right to make our own choices. Therefore we are not obliged to do anything but die.

Why do you ask a stupid question like this, one that assumes an identity to the subject but then varies the essentials. What would a bird be like if it was a pig? These are profoundly stupid questions. And in Catholic thought we are to IGNORE all revelation even if we do believe it is from God -- and direct it to someone with authority in the Church because God does not contradict Himself
