Domestic jetlag?

My body doesnt believe in getting jet lag from a flight from Dallas to Los Angeles, about a three hour flight. Anyone ever done this flight? Or something similar that they can confirm or not confirm jet lag? Thanks.

Most people don't get jet lag on domestic flights unless is coast to coast but it also depends on if I like if they stayed up really late the night before

Some are more sensitive to a change in time than others. That you do not have issues is good for you.Of course that first morning in LA you never woke up just a little early? You were not just a little hungry before lunch?

I don't know why you'd get much jet lag from a 3 hour flight. I wouldn't. Maybe some people would. Not sure why you're asking. If you don't get it, that's nice. Most people would prefer it that way.

Yes and no, but I have been in Asia dealing with a 14 hour time change which I adjusted to quicker then adjusting from east coast time to california time, domestic jet lag can be pretty rough.

More associated with travelling longer distances, transatlantic or Pacific flights across 3-5+ time zones. It could have the same affect across 1-2 tine zones, but to a much less effect. I've travel extensively in Europe, that is 1 hour ahead of the U.K., I've never experienced what I would call jet lag, in the same way as when I've travelled to the USA and Asia.

There is only a 2-hour difference between Dallas and LA, so any jet lag isn't likely to be extreme. Also, it's much easier to go from West to East, and you're more likely to experience some jet lag on the return. But good for you if you don't. Everyone is different, for sure.

I don't have much trouble going west. When I have to get up at 7 in the morning, my body thinks it's 9:00 and feels fine. When I come back, I have a little trouble readjusting. Not much worse than when the time changes for Daylight Savings Time.

You don't get jet lag from a 3 hour flight. That's all there is to it.

I used to have a collegue that regularly went to Paris (from London) on business and always took a day off when he returned for jet lag.

Never suffered from domestic jetlag and I have flown a lot in the past 50 years

I flew from London to Istanbul half a dozen times in the 1980s, a 3-4 hour flight, and never noticed jet lag. A bit tired, yes, but jet-lagged, no.
