Is it okay to use a uniform for cosplay?
I want to cosplay the personification of Russia and I want to buy an authentic uniform for that, so I want to ask if it s okay or not. I m planning on purchasing a colonel/polkovnik/полковник uniform and doing enough research as well.
What would you think?

I would think a straight Red Army uniform would be ok, but the uniforms of outfits like the GRU are probably best avoided.
