'A'.... interrelated courtyards/ buildings, is best answer. Roman Forums were market places, town squares, shops and law courts so choice 'A' fits best.

Interrelated courtyards and buildings is the correct answer A temple to Jupiter dominated the Forum, which was the Ancient Roman equivalent of a town square. Other, smaller temples often accompanied it. Statues of prominent figures both human and divine would line the other three sides of the Forum. There were various buildings belonging to different guilds. Court was often held in the Forum under specially constructed tents. The Forum was also a place where markets were set up. These are described in the Satyricon of Petronius. In front of temples were altars where sacrifices could be performed. Amphitheaters were never constructed in the forum and neither were bathhouses. Ditto private houses. The Forums were used for gladiatorial contests; before permanent public arenas were legal, Julius Caesar famously held gladiator shows in the Roman Forum and some subterranean relics of this use have been discovered by archaeologists

Sir Caustic

A series of bath houses.

People and buildings, but some don't believe it was real at all or was in the 15th century.
