Historically, nations usually last between two to three hundred years, but to last as long as China doesn't mean that it's been the same country all that time, it's just in name. The US started out as a democracy but isn't one anymore when it's controlled by an outside agency that controls all the money in the world. The controllers might keep the US in order to use its military, like they're doing now, so who's to say how long they'll last. The controllers goal is to be the world's dictator with a small populace to work as slaves, after getting rid of nation states. The end game is WWIII where the US, China and Russia blow each other up. But Russia and China is holding up the war by needing to catch up to US weaponry before the controllers have their way.

John: correction

correction: the Roman Empire(the Repubblic lasted around 300-400 years and so the Empire) nor the Chinese Empire(they have different Dynaties and an endless Warring era from different Chinese Kingdoms) never lasted 1000 years although the Egyptian and Eastern Roman Empire did have a long ruling span.

Well, consider this prophecy found at Daniel 2:44 - “In the days of those kings [governments/empires] the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be destroyed. And this kingdom will not be passed on to any other people. It will crush and put an end to all these kingdoms, and it alone will stand forever," First, it tells us that God’s Kingdom would begin ruling “in the days of those kings.” This means that other governments would still exist on the earth when the Kingdom started to rule. Second, it tells us that God’s Kingdom would last forever and never be replaced by another government. And third, there would be war between God’s Kingdom and the governments of this world. God’s Kingdom would win and become the only government ruling over the earth. Then humans will have the best government they could ever have.
