Do you feel comfortable writing with a group of fellow writers or do you prefer writing in a space where there other writers around?

There's a "shut up and write" event at a local coffee shop. I've never been to it, but I've been there while it's going on. I do like the energy and vibes I feel when I see other writers nearby and it helps me be more focused on my writing. But I don't know if I'd be as comfortable being at the same table as them.
