Does anyone know the name/author of this poem?

I remember reading a poem in class years ago. I can’t remember the whole things but there are a few details that stick out to me: - in the poem the main character wears a certain shade of lipstick—maybe red? And this may be the name of the poem, but I remember it was significant in some way. I know in the poem it’s mentioned that she applies/reapplies it. I think the number of the shade was mentioned? - she works in customer service or at a call center or as a waitress...but I think it’s one of the first two - there’s an herb mentioned in the poem. Cilantro or parsley, maybe? I think she’s cooking or she has it in her teeth? - she rides the bus or takes public transport home I know these details are so vague but I hope they jog someone’s memory! Thank you!

If you are able to refocus to recall a line of the poem and post it, some people here know the thread to find the entire poem for you which unfortunately, I don`t recall, but some certainly can do.I`ve seen numerous enquiries here successfully answered giving the full poem or a link to the required poem due to the recollection of a single line of a stanza so if no-one recalls from your current information try to remember one line and ask again, posting the line. Still. don`t sign out as someone might have been equally impressed and recognize what you seek.

In fact the details are not 'vague'. They are sharp and colourful, and will certainly jog the memory of anyone who has actually read the poem. What IS 'vague' is any notion of when you read it. We don't know you, so we have no idea when you were 'in class' or what you mean by 'years ago'.
