What drawing software for children ages 6 to 8 to use?

Microsoft paint. I remember using it since I was in the 1st grade, Its a pretty simple program that's easy to pick up. I've since graduated to programs like adobe Photo Shop and illustrator but i still us Microsoft paint on accusation.

A nice crayola box with 24 colors for those sweet graphics, and you can rub them for textural effects

A box of crayons and some plain white paper. Children that age don't need "software".
