Authentic Gucci necklace?

My grandmother gave me a necklace she says is authentic Gucci. She isn’t the type of person to but fakes or not buy directly from Gucci itself. She said it’s a vintage Gucci chain. However, I can’t find the gucci logo on the gain itself. I have found small markings reading “Italy” and “925.” Is it possible this is legitimate?
