How do I fix my glasses?

Hi, So one of my glasses screw on the side came off and I searched it up and every tutorial has the little movable part on the arm that came off. So is mine broken?

w/o a photo of the specs, all I can do is tell you that there's a kit sold in stores that has a tiny screw driver + the replacement screws for the temple
