Can i just apply eyeshadow to my lid?

Do you mean wear only eye shadow with no eyeliner or mascara? Yes, you can do that if you want to, like if you only want the eye shadow color. I did that for a while myself when I began wearing makeup as a teenager. Eye shadow was first, then mascara. I started to wear eyeliner last.
