Aux cord won’t work with my 2017 Hyundai Accent base model (not GL!)?

I have an iPhone 8 which doesn’t come with the usually headphones port so I bought an aux with the iPhone charger port and the other side to be regular for the insertion of the car, it said aux connected but once I started to play the music it just came out from my phone speakers and not the car. Any idea on how to get it to work??

The aux port in cars is analog. You patch the headphone output to the car's aux input, unless the car's input is digital, which TRS plugs are not.

Go to a Hyundai dealer.

Hi with most cars it is the usb sockets which make the sound come out of the radio input. so the power cable is more likely to work than the aux input.
