What are some good skills, trades, or degrees to get so that way I can get out of the fast food industry?

Consult one of the community colleges near you to see if they have workforce development. This is often training in trades that is short term and low cost.

things that interest you, and you're good at. not the same for everybody

You must decide what interests you. The list is long. It is the same things that people decide upon in graduating high school. This is a US Government job survey site and you can look at things that interest you, their pay scale, what it takes to become one, number employed and growth of the field and then look locally about job demand and salaries https://www.bls.gov/ooh/a-z-index.htm I know people who repair cars and got their certifications while working in fast food. I know someone who became a mortuary cosmetologist doing makeup on dead people. I know someone who went to bartending school at night and became a bartender. I know someone who took classes to become a chef. I know someone who without classes applied as a waitress and earns more, but that may not be good in Georgia since I think they are underpaid there. Nursing assistant, physical therapy, and there is a demand for people that draw blood for tests called a phlebotomist. https://www.bls.gov/ooh/healthcare/phlebotomists.htm You can use the occupation finder and see what takes low levels of training and earns decent pay.
