Possibly, but not simply because of being 18 and not simply because your mother took you off hers. The main requirement, in every state, is that the total income of your household, as a whole (not just you personally) must be low enough. In some states, that alone is enough. In other states, you may also need to be disabled, pregnant, under 18, or over 65.

Insurance is a commodity that has to be paid for. There is no such thing as free insurance. Only government subsidized or paid welfare health subsidies. The welfare office might put you on Medicaid but you have to give them your mother's income on the application because you live together. You can get a job and get health insurance that way. Even Starbucks gives it to part time employees. There is no such thing as free insurance, only welfare health care or paid private insurance.
