What happens if you file bankruptcy at a bank just out of curiosity?

If you pay all bills on time and have plenty of money and never had any debts, what happens if you file for bankruptcy when you absolutely have no other reason than curiosity?

1. You would win the dumb*ss of the century award. 2. You don't file at a bank. 3. No lawyer would take your case - you would not qualify.

You don't file for bankruptcy at a bank... you file with a bankruptcy court...the court would rule against you and you would have simply wasted everyone's time.

If you don't have debts you have nothing to file bankruptcy on and it wouldn't be accepted by the court. You don't file with a bank.

You can't. It doesn't work that way. To file for bankruptcy, you need to provide a list of your debts and show that you qualify.

Lawyers charge you a huge fee, and the courts admonish you for wasting their time.

You will waste time and money for filing but as soon as it gets to court it will be rejected.

Your filing won't be approved by a BK judge.

The judge would throw the case out. In order file, you would have to list

Are you a moron or what? You must be in massive debt to file No lawyer would ever help you file If you filed on your own you would be charged with filing a frivolous case and be jailed or fined

They LAUGH IN YOUR FACE. Bankruptcy is a legal process through the courts to cancel DEBTS you can't pay. If you never had debts, there is NOTHING for the bankruptcy court to cancel.
