It's whatever the sales tax rate is for most everything else you buy where you live. Simply multiply that rate by the price of the car. It's not complicated.

Are you smarter than a 5th grader? Sales taxes vary depending on what part of California you live in. Find the tax rate for YOUR county/city and multiply that by the amount of the sale.

Is basic math not your thing? Find the sales tax in your area. It varies by the area or city or county, not the state. 14,995 X whatever the sales tax is and hit the % key.

Its going to be the same on any priced car. Its usually a % based on where the dealer is located or where you live if you bought from a private party. Each state, county & city can charge tax so it varies.

Where I live in northern California, its at 7.25%. I don't know where you live, so I can't magically tell you what the sales tax is nor what the rate is.

Rock It!
