Ford F-150 2004 key programming issue?
So I ordered a new key remote online,turned the ignition on off 8 time,programmed the remote,but now my key (pat key) won’t turn my truck on

Getting the car to sync with the radio frequency used to remotely lock and unlock the doors is a completely separate matter to getting the ignition immobiliser to recognise the key. Only a franchised Ford dealer or a suitably equipped automotive locksmith can do that, and on many modern cars including all Fords built over the last decade or so that can only be done using a brand new Ford-supplied key-head.

Try a spare key. No fix, call a car locksmith.
