Is it me, or does Google Maps fail to always inform the driver to change lanes?

I was driving in the left lane and maps didn't inform me that I should be on the right lane. It didn't inform me and I didn't realize it until it was too late. Because of that, I had to go through the tolled Hugh L. Carey Tunnel.

It's you. There are three (!) sets of giant signs as you approach the Carey Tunnel that say that if you want to stay on the BQE you have to keep to the right and if you want to go into the tunnel you have to keep left. There is also a sign that says Left Lane Tunnel Only. Your failure to pay attention is not Google's fault.

It always tells you there is a turn ahead, which direction, and how far before the turn, so you are properly notified. learn how to USE the thing.
