Do I need to have insurance and valid registration for car storage ?

I want to have my car stored somewhere, b/c I dont use it.

That depends on the storage facility. Most require comprehensive insurance coverage. Most do not require valid plates (registration)

that depends, the car storage company may say you need insurance, if you are paying off a loan you may need full insurance

If it is still being financed, yes. If you own it outright, it depends on local statutes and zoning laws. Generally speaking, an unregistered car must either be garaged or parked out of sight from the street behind a barrier. A commercial storage yard is legal. But why put up with the hassle? If you don't use it, sell it. There are others you can buy when you need it.

You need insurance IF you have a valid registration - cancel registration then cancel the insurance and all is good....store forever....
