2002 Oldsmobile Alero GLS help?

I have a 2002 Oldsmobile Alero GLS. The other day I had to replace my radio and the only way to get the orginal radio out was to take the gear shifter out of the middle and move it to the side. When I was done with the radio I had put everything back together and then I went to go start my car and put it in reverse, Well once I tried doing that it was stuck in park so I wiggled the middle shifter a bit and that seemed to work. Now today when I was putting it in reverse it once again was stuck in park until I moved the shifter around a bit. Did I ruin something?

You apparently did something to the Shift Interlock. Make sure you press firmly on the brake before you shift. If that doesn't work look up Shift Interlock Troubleshooting for your car. There may be something particular to that car that causes that. But on all car a faulty Brake Switch can cause that.

I don't think you ruined it, but it probably needs adjustment. You should be able to read the manual on AutoZone's website. It's free to sign up and read your manual. Good luck.

Take it back apart and check the wiring running to the shift lever lock out solenoid. GM didn't make the wiring harness long enough and I've had 2 Pontiac's that had a broken wire at the solenoid.

Check your installation again and check if the wires to the shift interlock solenoid is being pinched.
