Why does my xbox one make the power in my room go out?

Two possibilities: 1) There is a short in the Xbox. 2) The Xbox is being plugged into a circuit being shared by other devices and the Xbox kicks the power draw to high. Resolution option assuming it is other devices on the same circuit: The next time the power goes off because of this, note what other devices are also off. If they do not need to be on, leave them off.
