My dish remote control will only change volume and do nothing else, can yu help?

Press the correct button for the device you want to control. I would use the original remote for each piece of equipment to prevent such inconveniences.

Try reprogramming it. Sorry I can't tell you how, I'm not tech. I usually have to call At&T and have them talk me through it.
