I have a RCA 25" TV/DVD combo,. connected to cable and a sound bar. DVD will not play sound through sound bar. It is very low through the TV?

There is a lot you didn't say that could be useful. First, in What Way is the sound bar connected? Does the sound from programs coming in on the cable seem OK? It is good to have a local consultant who can help you in person.

This shows the setup. This is the cable output to tv input. the red and white cables below are output going to the sound bar.
