Did you ever order dessert when you go out to eat?

Let's see you eat out and you have a nice meal, either in a fast food restaurant or a more slow food restaurant that has waiter service. And even slower restaurants, your waiter or waitress might ask you about dessert, and at that point, do you say yes, or ask to see their dessert menu and if something looks good to you order it, or if nothing looks good, do you pass, or do you say no right away. If you do order dessert how often would you estimate you order dessert, do you to it every time, or sometimes like maybe more of a special occasion, or do you rarely (if ever) order dessert?

First let's be honest fast food is never a nice meal But yes if still hungry after a meal I will order a desert

No, I don't usually order a dessert. :)

I look at the desert menu before I order the main meal. As cafés are slow here. Food must be cooked. 30 minute wait is normal to be served. Some times the food is very good. But portions small by American standards. Then about 1/2 way threw the meal I will order a dissert so they have time to fix it. Serve at end of meal. Unless at the Dive. Or divers club. When there I will eat my meal. Then get up. Walk to the cooler. Look & select a icecream bar or chocolate. Reach in get it myself & return to my table to eat it. Wife is worst there she grabs 3 to 4 things to bring home. This is a coco producing area. Good chocolate specialty items made there. Not cheap but never on there menu. Items vary day to day. This is normal there.

When I go out to eat with my parents, we always order dessert. Because we split it three ways, there's never a danger of it being too much.

I order dessert if I'm still hungry and don't feel opposed to spending the extra money, probably happens once ever 6 or 8 times I go out...so not a lot, but not never
