Did i really mess up?

I used to go to college and i had a full scholarship ride. At the beginning it was good but one of my teachers failed me because i did not participate. Anyway i got into a huge fight with the teacher. I got pissed off and i dropped all my classes and i technically dropped out. Did i really mess up?
