Is it alright if I do the fall and winter semester in college or should i also do spring?

Those would be quarters or trimesters. Many students take a break from school, but you need to see what the requirements of your financial aid are. Some require you to be continuously enrolled.

You could but keep in mind that not all classes will be offered in the winter semester and that these classes are much more accelerated than a normal semester.

There is no such thing as fall, winter, and spring semesters. If your school has these sessions, they are QUARTERS, not semesters.
