Do people really fail buying anime figures for 500 usd?
In Japan for the high quality figures are around 8,000 yen = 80 usd. I was looking online to see if there were some figurine of a anime and it showed a lot of ebay sellers selling them way over priced like 560 usd. Thats outrageous! I hope people are not buying that.

It's really not a surprise, since lots of figurines were only a one-time production. So if the item was high on demand and they didn't make it anymore, the price will increased like crazy. You should visit Yahoo Auction Japan if you want to see anime-related items being sold at outrageous prices.
