What does he mean by this?
So I’ve never met my dad, but apparently he has a son, so my half brother, and he reaches out to me over Instagram saying he’s my half brother and that I have a nephew. I respond by saying thanks for reaching out, I’m not ready to talk yet but I’ll let you know when I am. Then he responded, okay, it wasn’t my choice and if it was it would have been different. What does he mean by that???

probably not knowing you until now. dont read to deep into it. sounds like he is giving you space until you are ready to talk
