Iam disabled and won the lottery last year, they withheld 6000 of my winnings. can I get any of that back/?

File a tax return to find out. You are required to file one anyway. If they withheld too much you will get a refund.

being disabled makes no difference. Won the lottery doesnt matter. The reason they withheld money is something only you know.

Fill out your tax return, and if you are supposed to get money back, you will. (Assuming there are people working in the IRS, that is)
