I need to get rid of keratosis pilaris?

I have severe keratosis pilaris (kp) on my arms. Ive tried looking online to compare but mine is so much worse. Its so severe that I only wear long sleeves. I’ve tried everything to get rid of it. I’ve used urea cream, lactic acid, salicylic acid (even with a wash cloth in the shower), benzoyl peroxide, apple cider vinegar, head n shoulders, but nothing works. If I go to the dermatologist, what would I be prescribed to be certain my kp would go away. or is there nothing that can be done?
