Yes there are several recognised side effects of a prostatectomy. Incontinence (usually gets better with time) erectle dysfunction - erectile failure infertility

You won't ejaculate after a radical prostatectomy, that's a fact. You might also have erectile dysfunction and urinary incontinence, but they don't happen to everyone. Regardless of the side effects, if you have an indication for prostatectomy, have it! It'll save your life.
