I HAVE a daughter with Asperger's. It is harder to define, harder to get handicapped funding for, etc. The person looks normal, so people tend to be more judgmental about their behavior. At least those who have Down's syndrome, you know just by looking at them. BTW, my daughter holds down a job, owns a condo and while she's not great at relationships, she is happy with her life and lives independently.

down syndrome kids are great. Asperger child might be too difficult to handle. but either would be ok
