How to Choose the Best Colours For Your Kitchen?

Personal taste, aspect of the room, relationship to other rooms and whatever finishes you can't change eg floor tiles.

There is no such thing as a "best color". It depends entirely on your taste and everyone has different tastes. My own tastes run to white kitchens: white cabinets, Corian or marble counters, black and white floor. NOT everyone's taste.

What ever you are comfortable with.

You need some inspiration that is uniquely something you love. This could be fabric you use for a curtain, a set of kitchen linens, your favorite set of dishes, a colorful design in a ceramic bowl, or even a table cloth or a throw rug. From any one of those items, you can select colors to paint the walls and or cabinets. I know that sounds so easy. That's because it is. So, go shopping and see if there is something you that you absolutely love and use it as a jumping off point in decorating your kitchen. For my bathroom, I found this fabric that I fell in love with. I used that fabric for my window and created a room around those colors. In no time flat, I had a perfectly decorated room.

Go to the grocery store and pick 3 of your favorite vegetables/fruits. Let's say a peach, a turnip, and green bean. Take those items to the paint store, peel them and tell the paint guys to match those colors. Buy a gallon of each color. Come home and sit down and figure out how you can paint your kitchen with these 3 colors. Write that down on the walls so you can remember what you decide. If you work with it enough, you will get something that is good and unique. Just you. Paint it and see what it looks like. Go back and buy the extra paint to finish up.
