Is it bad that I called out of work since I’m new?
Yes. Snow should not have stopped you.

If your looking to get fired, then congrats.
Yes it is bad especially since you are new.
Yeah it just doesn't look good
yes, real bad. Most places would file you for calling off twice in your first two weeks.
Yes it is.
Yes. You can't call in every time they predict snow. You need to learn to drive in all kinds of weather. Get decent snow tires on your car and practice. You can't count on the resort having a room for you and it would be expensive.
Safety is always key. I'm sure they won't think too much about it. You're fine! BUT, make sure there is a BAD snow storm. If you can drive it, I'd go. Good luck!!
Retardo say maybe bad. What if snow storm no hit? Then you look like buffoon.
yes- I mean yes because your new and already calling in "sick" essentially, not a good look on a new employee, luckily your manager was understand, don't let it happen for a long period of time. Also its winter, there's going to be snow fall and ice, you can't just say "oh hey I don't feel like coming in", I mean if all your co-workers did that, the business would be shut down. I worked tonight and we got 10-15cm (7 inches), and I didn't cancel, hell I worked a double shift, AND I commuted it home in a blinding snow storm, so no, that excuse doesn't fly with me.
Not good. You will more than likely be let go soon.
Yes it's bad after only a week of employment.
Yes. I waited until my 91st day on the job before I called out.
You're gonna get fired
only if u have a work history on calling out (only u truly know) and look for reasons to do so otherwise next time u go in work harder and show management your dedicated and in for the long run!
If you'd been stranded away from your home you would have had even bigger problems.
Yes not good

Well, if you really couldn't get there you didn't have a choice but it's not the best thing to happen when you're new. It sounds like they understand. Just make sure your honor what you said about next time. Good luck.
Depends what job you got better paying jobs seem to be more lenient from my experience
