What to do if i received someone else's online order package?
i got a package from urban outfitters and the outer plastic had my name and address as the recipient.
I opened it and the it contained a clothing article and i didn't realize that there was a paper inside saying Ship To: someone else's name and address.
will i get penalized for opening it up? also, how do i return the package to the owner? i live in san diego and the owner is all the way in denver colorado

Call Urban Outfitters and explain the situation. You did nothing wrong by opening a package addressed to you. Hopefully, they can email you a shipping label so you can return the item to the wearhouse. Then they can send a replacement package to the intended recipient.
