NO... we can do many other things then use our military TO INTERFERE in another countries politics... That would be worse then the SO CALLED RUSSIAN COLLUSION IN OUR ELECTION... At Lease Russia did not invade us to change our government.

no boots,NGOs can do that,,we might kick in some food &medicine thats all if maduro thuggies grab our people we drop in to say hi after we tear up the joint & bust heads

The US government should not get involved except in terms of policy. No troops and no money. Those who want to help the humanitarian crisis should donate to a reliable charity. You can look them up on Charity Navigator. This is MUCH more efficient than any government agency. I can see that if the US government were intruding itself into the economics of Venezuela, feeding its people, etc., it might think it needs to send troops to make sure things are done the way they want and the money isn't stolen. I don't advise this. As I said, a reliable charity is in a better position.

No None of our business

Stay the f*ck out! Every US military adventure of recent decades has turned to shite leaving someone else to pick up the pieces and cope with the refuges when you guys decide to run away home! Leave it alone now - almost certainly US covert ops have already not helped !

I think Trump has the right idea. Take it to Columbia. Then let there groups take it from there to there people. They do not want Americans there at this time. They do need some food.

Venezula has proved the necessary for the Wall, so that refugees cannot go to U.S. but for the revolution there.

Flower

Thats very funny since the U.S. caused the crisis in Venezuela by backing a right wing coup d'etat. But even before that, American sanctions have hurt Venezuela and the people there. The people always suffer from American sanctions and the governments surface again.

Tad Dubious

No. We has a wall to build. I mean a barrier. We has a barrier to build. We ain't got time for helpin' no brown-skinned folk who will just want to become illegal immigrants, caravanning themselves up to our southern border in search of free welfare! (Satirically speaking, of course.)

Cymry

That is probably the first time I've seen US and humanitarian crisis in one sentence. Congratulations! On the other hand, Trump might find such aid cheaper than building a wall.

Siddhartha

No, the opposition and the Venezuelan army are planning a coup.

America has 40 million people living in poverty right now have you been in these places have you seen the homeless vets have you seen the streets lined with tents what is wrong with you poor starving people indeed

Slim McCheesy

The United States caused it

Russia is partly involved and looking for an excuse to get more involved because they have invested heavily in the present president. If the wanted, they could go all in and make a military intervention there to establish the new president, rebuild the economy and of course control the oil. The problem is that Trump sucks up to Putin, and Putin is going to win.

vulcan_alex

No it is for them to address their issues.

Well sanctioning the Venezuelan Government is certainly not going to help

Mark

The US should not even remotely get involved. This is something that Venezuela needs to fix on its own

James

Nope

To avoid the mistakes we made in Vietnam and Korea of using infantry and conventional weapons, we could use nukes to kill them so they never have to live under Communism. But either way, it is America's responsibility to kill any one that has to live under Communism. Doing this really helps our multi-national corporations out everywhere.

THEY are the ones who just sat there & did nothing to try to save their country. We're just keeping-it from spreading ....................

If not the U.S. Then Russia or China.

Let's feed Venezuela. American farmers can use the business.
