Why does my horse threaten to kick me when I brush her flanks ? 🧐 any ideas ?

Could be she is hurting somewhere and being defensive. Or you could be using too stiff of a brush/strokes for her liking. Or she could be playing a dominance game with you. Or, she could have ulcers. Or, she could be going into heat. Could be lots of things.....

Perhaps she's just ticklish. Perhaps she has a sore spot that hurts when you brush it. Perhaps she's colicking, and needs a vet. I have lots of ideas; top three presented in order of likelihood.
