How to clean up after hamster death?

Hello. I'm new to this site, looking for answers. My hamster Nogi unexpectantly passed away. I need to know how to sanitize her items and tips. She had lots of wood toys, and I heard you can bake them how long should I bake the toy in the oven? She also had a (supervised) smooth wooden playpen. How would I clean the wood on that since it is so big? Also, is it possible to clean a seagrass tunnel, timothy hay mat, and timothy hay hut? Thank you in advance.

HOT water usually works well on everything you mentioned. Usually just hot tap water is okay but you could also use boiling water. If you're sterilizing plastic, hot tap water and soap.

Put a tablespoon of bleach in a gallon of water and use it to rinse everything. The bleach will evaporate when the stuff dries. Keep the mixture off your clothes! Actually, soap and water is adequate for most purposes. The stuff made of grass may not be worth cleaning; but if you could put them in the sun for a day or so.
