My hamster died after I had him for almost a year. Is that a normal life span?

If you don't take care of your pets they might not live very long .. next time get a rat , then it's not going to matter when it croaks ... hopefully this works for you !

Hampsters live for 2 years to 2 and half years, so depending on how old the hampster was he could of been ready to pass away.
