Do you think the healthcare system they have in Israel could work in the United States?

It’s one of the most efficient and best in the world. https://international.commonwealthfund.org/countries/israel/

Sure, why not? It's paid for with US tax dollars. Might as well use the same system here at home.

It could probably "work," but that doesn't say much. Capitalized healthcare is better for a reason, different insurers can compete for lower prices, and for better care. A state system would hurt the economy, force people to change their current situations, and impose more socialism on people, when it will probably be low quality in the end. (Social contracts cannot compete, thus competition is worse.)

American super crooks (like Trump) would ruin it.

NO WE ARE A LOT DIFFERENT THAN ISRAEL

RICK

Nope US population is just to big

Foofa

Probably not. Taking care of a mere eight million well educated people, all of whom are relatively fit from mandatory military service is different from trying to manage 326 million, half of whom are obese and many of whom are hopelessly addicted to drugs.

tell us about it, we aren't going to look it up just to respond to your question

Idk because israel is tiny compared to us. We definitely need improvement. My thoughts are, if youre a citizen you deserve basic healthcare( from taxes).
